On the third floor is the restaurant, where a makeshift camp can be found, consisting of a tent, a sleeping bag, a campfire, and the dead corpse of a trapper, whose traps can be found all across the area. At the main reception desk on the ground floor, there is a working terminal that can be accessed to read a pre-War entry. The hotel consists of four floors and a basement, the latter of which can be accessed via the only working elevator, guarded by ceiling-mounted turret, and descends into Vault 118. In the latter part of October 2287, a trapper explored the site in search for the entrance to the Vault, where he was trapped and killed by ghouls after setting up camp within the hotel. The Vault was sealed before the lower rungs of the social ladder could be admitted, and the luxurious hotel fell into disrepair and eventually became a hive for feral ghouls, as the sealed away inhabitants descended into madness. Primarily intended as a resort hotel for tourists coming the island, the location was deemed suitable for Vault-Tec's purposes, and Vault 118 was subsequently built underneath the establishment, once intended for an experiment regarding class warfare.
